Golf Instruction (CGTF Certified)
Just like playing the game, golf instruction is a passion of mine. Through in-person clinics, online swing analysis, and creating instructional content across YouTube and social media, I aim to help people improve their golf experience and abilities. Though golf instruction is a casual endeavor, teaching comes natural to me as a full-time college professor of creative, interactive media. Through the Canadian Golf Teacher's Federation, I am a certified Golf Teaching Professional, but I also apply my educational background to enhance the teaching and learning process. This includes a Bachelor and Master of Education (deepening teaching methods and techniques), a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing & English (providing more meaningful dialogue and communication), and a 2-year Diploma in Video Game Design (expanding concepts of fun, play, level design/course management, and digital media production).
My golf studio and facilities include an indoor space for full swing and short game practice and analysis using golf simulators, launch monitors, and a moderate indoor putting surface, but also includes a self-built backyard short game complex which features a 25' x 15' putting green, a sand bunker, and chipping areas.
